Preserving the Movement Legacy Quietly, patiently, Bruce Pulliam, then a history professor at Methodist College in Fayetteville and a founding board member of Quaker House, collected and preserved this documentary record of the extraordinarily rich and turbulent chapter of the history of Fayetteville and Ft. Bragg that was the Vietnam era GI Resistance. Once, in 1980, his work was briefly noted in the Fayetteville Observer. Otherwise, the saga he documented has been a hidden part of the story of Fayetteville, Ft. Bragg, and this nation. We hope this exhibit can help bring it into the light of day. |
