SUMMARY:Quaker Worship
DESCRIPTION:Meeting for Worship has been impacted by COVID-19 and the need for social distancing precautions. Thanks to a generous donation\, we have a fire pit and wood to use in the backyard of Quaker House on days when it is nice outside. Otherwise\, we are meeting by Zoom. There is a possibility that even when meeting outside\, there is an opportunity to join us by Zoom. Please email the Clerk of Fayetteville Friends Meeting (fayncfriendsclerk@gmail.com) for the weather status and Zoom link information. \nMeeting for Worship is from 2:00 pm to 3:00 pm. Second Hour (3:00 pm to 4:00 pm)\, this week we will be discussing the reading from current book selection (Twelve Steps to a Compassionate Life by Karen Armstrong) pages 1 – 26\, the preface. \nFeel free to contact Quaker House for more information at (910) 323-3912. \nFayetteville Friends is a member of North Carolina Yearly Meeting (Conservative) and has unprogrammed worship.* Our meeting is welcoming and affirming. \n*We do not have a pastor\, and speaking by those participating in worship is spirit-led out of sitting in silent listening.
