SUMMARY:Lessons from the Front: Conversations with US Military Personnel
DESCRIPTION:Lenore Yarger and Steve Woolford each have 18 years experience as counselors with Quaker House and the GI Rights Hotline.  They work with service members and their families who are having issues with being in the military.  Their work is unique in the peace movement because it connects directly with the military workforce and with the way these individuals who “carry out the mission” are often themselves victims of the United States’ war-making agenda.  They will tell stories of the people they help and share insight on how to build relationships with people who may have opinions different from our own.
